Our prevention specialists use evidence-based curricula (Positive Action and Curriculum-Based Support Group) to engage with youth in a fun, active manner while delivering valuable, lasting messages about making healthy choices. Programming is available in-school as well as in the community.

Prevention Office Locations
Connections’ Youth Prevention program covers 16 South Central Texas counties with 7 office locations. These services are funded through the Texas Health and Human Services Commission.

Aransas, Atascosa, Bastrop, Bee, Caldwell, Comal, Frio, Gonzales, Guadalupe, Hays, Karnes, Lee, Refugio, San Patricio, Wilson, and Zavala counties.
