Drug-Free Comal envisions a community where all people are respected and appreciated, and where all people live safe and healthy lives free of substance abuse.

To prevent and reduce substance abuse among youth and young adults by building healthy family, school, and community environments.

Coalition members work to reduce youth access to drugs and alcohol. We come together to share knowledge and resources in order to address local, state, and national priorities, such as ease of access to drugs and alcohol, low perception of the harm and risks associated with using, and negative peer influence.

Drug-Free Comal needs citizen involvement, both adults and youth, to be successful. We want all voices represented! Interested individuals do not need a background in substances or addictions, just a desire to learn and a passion to prevent misuse.

If you’d like to get involved, please submit your name and email address and our coalition coordinator will reach out.

Meetings are held at 1414 W. San Antonio St. on the third Tuesday of each month at 9:30am. A virtual option is available.
