Children often struggle with family conflict, social uncertainty, school and peer problems, depression, anxiety, anger, or even emerging mental health issues. Counseling helps youth and families strengthen coping mechanisms, decision-making abilities and problem-solving skills while working closely with trained professionals in a comfortable, confidential setting that can include the counselor’s office, a school, church, or in the home. Most programs are available at no or minimal cost to families. Counselors are available within our 17-county service area to address issues including (but not limited to) the following:

  • Anger Management
  • Bullying
  • Conflict Resolution
  • Divorce Recovery
  • Family Communication
  • Peer Pressure
  • Self Esteem
  • Social Interaction
  • Stress Management
  • Truancy Intervention

Services Include:

  • Crisis Intervention
  • Individual Counseling
  • Group Counseling
  • Support Groups
  • Short-Term Respite Care
  • Community Referrals

* Program is an initiative of FAYS (Family And Youth Success) which is funded by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services as well as other foundational giving.
